Guest guest
Howdy Janita, > Hi Butch > > Welcome back..... so good to hear from you. Thank you ma'am .. appreciated it is. :-) > Wonderful reading all your news and your place in Tennessee sounds > perfect. I was in Tennessee /Nashville last year and I just loved > that State. Your porch on your house sounds > great for those sultry hot evenings sipping cool lemonade with the > family. Suthran charm is alive and well in Tennessee .. and folks are laid back for sure. Both the feller who came out to hook up my cable TV and I-Net and the one who came out to hook up the telephone took time to chew the fat about the area .. we sat on the patio and had iced tea. Sweet tea of course .. hardly anyone here drinks unsweetened tea. ;-) Humidity is high year around and its much higher here around Paris as we are in lake country .. its something fairly easy to get used to .. outside work is normally performed mornings and afternoons though I've been going at it all day .. towel around the neck .. sweat band on the forehead and a baseball cap fer'shur .. gotta drink lots of water and sweet ice tea. ;-) The red bird was the Cardinal .. pretty birds and lots of them here but its actually the state bird of Kentucky and a few other states .. http://www.50states.com/bird/cardinal.htm .. Tennessee state bird is the Mocking Bird .. a noisy one but there are some nice lyrics when they are happy. :-P http://www.50states.com/bird/mock.htm The architecture of old Nashville is very nice .. especially nice is the Parthenon out at Centennial Park .. built to proper scale after the one in Athens, Greece .. Nashville is called the " Athens of the South. " :-) Lots of old mansions still around most of the cities of the South .. to include here in Paris. We enjoy the patio for sure .. and the property. Just walking around the boundary of our land is about as much exercise as I normally got daily for the last few years .. had no real exercise program while in Turkey. I'm working like a youngster now and finding muscles I had forgotten about .. each morning they remind me they are there. ;-) > I am using your fabulous Turkish Rose absolute at the moment for a > client and the quality and aroma is first class. There is no doubt > that I shall be ordering again. The great service you gave when I > first ordered from you is a testimony of your hands on approach. I'm happy to hear that you are pleased with the Rose Absolute .. its a quality product for sure and I thank you for the testimonial and the kind words. :-) > I look forward to hearing your views on the organic wild crafted > and free range issues. I'll put something out next week .. gonna be tied up with company this weekend and lots going down today. Actually, I'm not going to comment on free ranging or the ethics of harvest methods .. primarily I will address the problems with certification and some misinformation on the use of Absolutes .. and present another view of the harvesting of Mysore Sandalwood and Brazilian Rosewood. I'm on a new PC now .. my old hard drive is still in one of the unpacked boxes so I'll be digging into the archives of Oils & Herbs to find the old posts I made. Might also provide some info on the EU regulations .. both Tony Burfield and Watt are British and they have a good handle on just how ineffective and nonsensical many of them are. The regs don't all fix problems .. some of them create problems .. and there is no effective way to enforce them in any case. In many situations its like a bunch of unqualified amateurs sitting back and gloating over rules they have made that do no more than disrupt the industry and stroke the egos of those who made the rules. :-( Attempts to create a Utopia necessarily dictate a need to control the minds and actions of the public .. and standardization is not always a good thing as it stomps on the individuality and creativeness of many who are far more qualified and ethical than are those who are making the rules. Finally, it can become obsessive behavior .. the rule makers often go to extremes and create cloned copies of systems .. and of people. :-( Those who like to study history know the dangers inherent in too much state control. > With every good wish Butch to you and family, Janita > pufumero > http://www.hayspace.co.uk Thank you ma'am for the kind words and for taking the time to make this nice post. Y'all have a gud'un .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch http://ww.AV-AT.com
