Guest guest
When people ask me that, I always refer them to the photos of , who took creatine (Betagen) for her entire challenge. http://www.bodyforlife.com/challenge/vote.asp?voteId=11 She lost 30 pounds of fat and gained 7 pounds of lean mass. If you don't become hysterical over the initial gain or the slower drop in scale weight, the visible changes are very impressive. Once the fat comes off, you'll have a spectacular, lean, muscular, very fit body waiting for you underneath. Sort of like opening a present. However, plenty of people freak out and die the moment the scale goes up. So, they don't continue taking Betagen long enough to see the end results. Guest guest
I've heard of some people who cycle Betagen and I was wondering if after 4 weeks, I should stop it for 2 weeks. Is there any reason or benefit of this? --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates. Guest guest
If you just started taking creatine within the last couple of months, there isn't much reason to cycle off of it yet. Some people take it for a few months or years and never take it again. Some people use it only part of the year for pictures or competitions. Really, the only reason to deliberately cycle creatine on a set schedule is if you're entertaining the idea of staying on it indefinitely. Then, a good cycle is three weeks on and one week off. For women, PMS week is a popular week to take off. There really isn't much benefit to it other than saving some money. Guys cycle off of it for a few weeks at a time just so they can load it again, taking up to 15-20g a day and gaining 5-10 pounds. They're easily entertained though.
