I have a prayer request for a couple that I know of through another location of my company in Memphis, TN. They were in a bad single vehicle accident a week ago. Apparently, Steve was driving and had such a bad coughing spell he passed out at the wheel. Jamia grabbed the wheel and had time to take off her seat belt, but then they hit a patch of ice. They ran into a tree at around 50 miles per hour. This is well past the normal fatal speed, but they are both alive. Jamia went home last weekend, but Steve was in critical condition. Jamia, as you might image, was reliving the accident. Jamia has asked for prayer, so I am taking that request seriously, though I do not have any knowledge that they are believers. I have attached a list of injuries below. Please pray as the Spirit leads. Thank you. Shalom! Kent Steve: head trauma occipital bone in back of head broken broken jaw broken nose broken sinus bones 5 ribs broken rib punctured lung colon resection hole in diaphragm repaired dashboard hit his face causing broken bones in face leg broken 3 places (9 hours surgery) ankle broken some fingers on both hands broken Jamia: C2 fracture in neck horseshoe cut on top of head over 100 stitches and staples broken arm broken wrist possible broken knee (her air bag deployed and she thinks that kept her from going through windshield) ------ End of Forwarded Message
