Guest guest
I've been studying away, but have not been able to find the answer to following questions. I have a small peice of amber. But according to archives....I believe it is what you call copal?? It's a nice, tiny, expensive...lol...little chunk weighing about 5 grams. The name is Ganesh Amber, and from reading...obviously a resinous chunk, and not the real thing. But I still don't understand how to use this little peice of Heaven?? I would like to make a solid perfume from this. Do I melt it in a little oil ? How do I know how much of it to use ? It was expensive, and I dare not do anything, until I think I have at least half a chance of success. I have found several different recipes for solid perfume bases on the internet. Are solid perfume formulas basically variations of each other? or should some things NOT be done when formulating a solid perfume base? Any suggestions, greatly appreciated.
