Guest guest
I like the Betagen orange flavor - it's mighty yummy when mixed with vanilla myoplex lite - it's pricey about 40$, but I believe I'll have enough to last through the whole 12 weeks and beyond Lammail wrote: > Can someone please post which creatine they prefer and what is supposed > to be a good price! > > Thanks! > > > > > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
I use the liquid creatine. You take it only when you lift. No bloating, no bad tummy like the other stuff. http://store./mysupplement-store/atpadcrse.html On 5/18/05 11:04 PM, " Aimee M. Guest guest
I love the Betagen Orange flavor as well. However, I got mine for $17 at GNC. I found out, when I was in there, that the longer it has been in the store, the cheaper it gets. There was another one there for $40 something, but then I found this one...So, if you look around, you CAN get it cheaper. " Aimee M. Guest guest
Here's a previous post on liquid creatine. I always feel like a great big miserable party pooper when I post it but people deserve to know what they're taking. ~~~ This has come up before, but the creatine serum is a scam. Creatine is totally unstable in liquid form. Bill first published independent lab tests of the serum in Muscle Media. It showed that there was less than one gram of creatine in the *whole bottle*. AST has also had the serum analyzed. They tested several different lot #s and came to the same conclusion - barely any usable creatine in the bottle, and lots of the waste product that occurs when creatine breaks down (like when you put it in liquid). Creatine Serum: Separating Fantasy From Reality http://www.ast-ss.com/articles/creatine_serum_5-22-00.htm Creatine Serum Test Results http://www.ast-ss.com/articles/creatine_serum_test_results_5-22-00.htm ConsumerLab also did independent lab tests on creatine and both liquid products failed. One contained less than 1% of the claimed amount of creatine and actually contained more creatinine contaminant than creatine. In addition, it did not follow FDA labeling requirements, including making the unapproved claim " BUILDS LEAN MUSCLE MASS " . The other liquid product was also contaminated with creatinine and contained less than 95% of its claimed creatine. ConsumerLab Product Review: http://consumerlab.com/results/creatine.asp Now, I was really disappointed when I learned this, because I'd just spent $45 on the stuff and it was tasty! It didn't do anything though. Sure it didn't upset my stomach (because there's no creatine it!), but it also didn't give me any of the strength and muscle gains that I'd gotten from the powder. I've had great results with Betagen, and also with plain micronized powder (I like HDT brand). The micronized is very fine. It dissolves better than Betagen and doesn't upset my stomach. ~~~ On 5/19/05, Dr. Val <drval@...> wrote: > I use the liquid creatine. You take it only when you lift. Guest guest
Creatine...This is something that I have been trying to decide to start using. Also, what's the difference between Betagen and Phosphagen. BTW, Dr. Val I like the sound of the stuff you are using. What benefits/results have you seen from it? Guest guest
, thanks for posting this!! I was seriously thinking about this one... > > I use the liquid creatine. You take it only when you lift. Guest guest
I just use the plain creatine monohydrate and mix it into Myoplex. I also like the orange flavored carb control creatine by Cell Tech, but it is expensive and the orange is so overwhelming that I had to " cut " it with some plain just to make it less orangey. It does(the cut version) make a vanilla Myoplex taste like a creamsicle though. For the money I didn't notice any difference in the Cell Tech being any better than the plain. Guest guest
Thanks Stasia and . Now I just have to decide if my body is ready for creatine. I have about 20 pounds left to lose (lost 30 so far). Should I wait until closer to goal? Or will using the Betagen help? I work out with a trainer and he increased the weight on barbell squats this past week and I really struggled. I know it will help in that area... So much to think about!
