Guest guest Posted October 24, 2006 Report Share Posted October 24, 2006 Thanks. I want to get off of some of these meds now. The steriods are making me naseated, headachy, shacky and jumpy. I am going to call in the morning and see if I can come down from 500/50 advair, back to 200/50 and maybe loose the nebulizer, or reduce the amount of medication. Now I have the peak flow meter I feel better about knowing when I am in trouble, before I would wait till it got really bad. Sent from my Verizon BlackBerry chest x-rays When you get a chest x-ray, how do you have it taken? Are you flat on your back or are you seated upright with a board behind you? They have been taking mine in an upright position, but it is an acrobatic feat for me to be held in the right place and nothing ever seems to show. No, not really, it was awkward and painful for him I had to awkwardly hang on to his neck while still out of the way of the xray just to have a " specialist " tell him he needed to have his spine fused at 24! Or have them laying flat or on my side with my pca holding my arm outa the way As a kid I had to hang on by my fingernails with no safety belt at all or anyone to catch me while being left on a tiny little xray bench attached to the upright xray table- scary just remembering it. > > When you get a chest x-ray, how do you have it taken?
