Guest guest Posted March 9, 2012 Report Share Posted March 9, 2012 I have a 52 year old patient with a worsening of her bad scoliosis the last few years affecting blood pressure and other systems. She had a Milwaukie brace as a teenager that really helped her. Dr. Chang has recommended a $120,000 surgery that is “better than Harrington rods†for her. At her age that seems silly, although with worsening problems with her organs, she might. Does anyone know a reputable brace fitter, preferably in Portland.
