Guest guest
So far my insurance hasn't dropped me BUT the MDA clinic just did the DNA test on me and billed them just to see IF they would pay any which I already know they won't. Also my Dr's. put CMT on my charts and ordered the Neurontin. So far so good. Renewal will be coming up soon so we shall see what happens. Waiting on results of DNA still. in OK
Guest guest
, May I ask why your insurance won't cover at least 80% of the costs? I thought the same thing especially since the lab was out of state. Turns out since I had no say (neither did the doctor) in which lab the testing was being sent to they paid all but a few hundred dollars. Which I breathed a sigh of relief since the total came to close to $7000. Elaina/NY
Guest guest
Yes the test is thru Athena but MDA said they were covering all of it. I recieved a patient advocate letter from Athena and they asked for 156.00 is all but MDA had me fax that info to them and not to even think about it again. Sure an anxious to see what happens. My husband's ork insurance renews every 2 years and at that time they drop or cancel. in OK

Guest guest
, My Blue Cross - Blue Shield pasid for everything in regard to my CMT. Never once was a bill rejected. I went from Blue Cross to Cobra for a year then back to Blue Cross through my retirement plan and nope not one issue has occured over the changes.
