Guest guest
Hi, Introduced myself a few days ago. Have well over 100 lbs to lose and am so tired of " starting " over and over and getting fatter and fatter. In 6 wks I am leaving for my annual trip to NY, and yet here I am again panicky and fatter than last year. I know there is no quick fix that is for sure. But I am trying to compare this plan with 6 wk body makeover (infomercial) Thurmond. They lose 35+ lbs in 6 wks. Amazing. Hard to believe. I am 38, and SOOOO tired of the deprivation thing. So I have a few questions. 1) Is there a free day on the women's version? 2) How do I figure out my body fat percentage? Do I need calipers? 3) Can I just use the machines that I normally do at the gym for lifting (Nautilus, etc)? 4) Has anyone done full body lifting 2-3 times per week instead of alternating upper/lower? 5) Has anyone else been in my situation of morbid obesity and had success with this? It sounds very doable, but I suffer from that all or nothing mentality. Because the rest of my life is sucking the life out of me, how can I possibly start and succeed on this? I know I have to do it for my health. I have 2 young children and I want to break out of this horrible body, I am starting to feel the stigma in a big way. Hate it. But yet I keep eating the wrong things. Thanks. Deb
