I've had a left nephrectomy (surgery) and immunetherapy (Interferon-a), plus radiation to the left pelvis and left thigh. I go tomorrow to pick up my new prescription of Sutent, which I will then begin tomorrow.I'm on morphine and neurontin for pain, and I've been on Temazepam for about 6 weeks to help me sleep. Amazing what a decent night's sleep can do for you! :-)Original prognosis said that the national "average" life span for my condition was 9-12 months... I've used up 11 and am still goin strong!Plans are to get CT scans on chest/abdomen/pelvis on Wednesday next week. Been paying a lot of attention to the pelvis/leg for the last couple of months. Haven't had a chest pic since October.God is the

only thing that gets me thru my days, so I'll just say up front you'll likely hear lots about Him from me.
