Guest guest Posted March 7, 2005 Report Share Posted March 7, 2005 Hi Friends - last Tues after a LBWO (during week 8, C1) I decided to take a 1 week break, so I have - maintaining EFL. Last night after 5 days off, I woke up several times with achy muscles, maybe joints - mostly in my lower arms and dull aching in my shoulders. I found it hard to hold 25 pound dumbbells in each hand while doing the lunges last Tues, but I've worked up to that- and I think its hard on my weak arms. I had an active weekend of horseback and yoga (lots of down dog, plank, etc) which could explain some of the achiness. Does anyone know what this is - its different from a delayed onset muscle soreness? Should I break a few more days? Also, I'm slightly discouraged with results but I'm definitely firmer. Pants fit the same, and weight is the same. I'm going off SSRI that caused 25 pounds weight gain so I'm thinking this is the main reason for SLOW results. I'm considering really cutting back major on the calories - and going a little easier on challenging upper body.
