Guest guest Posted January 6, 2006 Report Share Posted January 6, 2006 I got through to make an appt for Evan w/Dr. in Erie today, but the lady that does scheduling was w/families this afternoon and will call on Monday w/the appointment. I feel good about that. I've been in a battle w/the Dr. that first saw him over getting his RVAD-I called over 4weeks ago to get that with still no response and then when I spoke w/them today, they tried to put me off until next week. I spoke w/someone in X-Ray and had the Xrays sent to Evan's ped and also the Ped.Ortho at Duke we saw yesterday and figured he could figure out the RVAD based on the xray taken at the first hospital. I was SO frustrated due to that, they sent his records to the wrong doctor innitially and they never called back nor tried to help with the info I was requesting- I spoke w/someone in Pt.Relations-which seems excessive, but I felt it was justified since Ev is 5mos old and diagnosed with the progressive type and they put him off for 3mos anyway! I would be interested to know also if theres a Mc house in Erie as well-since it looks we'll be there in the future.
