Guest guest
Hello, I joined this group months ago and asked for a source of raw milk, but life interfered and prevented me from following up on the source. Does anyone know of a current local source? I am hoping not to have to order from CA, that gives sooo much money to shipping instead of to a farmer! I use milk to make kefir and have been using the Cedar Summit Farm grass-fed non-homogenized yet pasteurized stuff, and, while it's much better than the other big brand " organic " milk, I am still needing to get back to raw milk. I used to live in CA and had access to raw milk right in the grocery store -- did NOT realize how lucky I was! Later lived in rural KY and there always farmers with grown kids but plenty o' cows who would have so much leftover milk that it was very easy to find. NOW, living in suburban metro Mpls...well, ya'all know how that goes as far as raw milk! I am hoping for a gallon or two a week, preferably pasture grazed/grass fed through summer and fed stored grasses through the winter. Can anyone help? Thanks so very much. You can email me at theranch@.... Have a great day... Sincerely, Joanna
