Guest guest
C, Jake had 2 "oh-oh!" diapers today, and now the shirt is a tan color! Have you (or anyone else on the board) found something that is safe for their delicate skin to remove any stains? I am concerned because Jake does have sensitive skin. Guest guest
I was afraid to try any chemicals on the shirt. His shirt is stained, but it doesn't smell. They said it absorbs smell and I guess it does, lol. His is stained BAD. Noelle (12-2-01)Ian (8-15-04) stinky shirt C, Jake had 2 "oh-oh!" diapers today, and now the shirt is a tan color! Guest guest
the only thing i can think of that may help a little with his skin would be to get some delicate washing detergent and dilute it with water to help get out what you can. when is your cast change? hopefully, you won't have to deal with the stinky shirt much longer! been there, done that. hang in there!! :-) tracey Viveiros <jviv314@...> wrote: C, Jake had 2 "oh-oh!" diapers today, and now the shirt is a tan color! Guest guest
Hello , Pet stores sell a natural enzyme that comes to life when damp and will eat pee and poo; it dies when it dries out and is completely harmless as far as I know. It's sold to remove pet stains and smell. Maybe this would work for you? I'm sorry I can't remember a brand name. Good luck, > > C, > > Jake had 2 " oh-oh! Guest guest
You cannot believe the condition the shirt is in now. It is stretched out, losing elasticity in lower half, and has been washed many times. It rolls out of his clothes all the time, and it is not a pretty sight because it is now a very light brown color. Now I'm afraid to cut and tape the shirt to the cast because of its fragile state!!! Guest guest
Jenn, Marissa's shirt fits the same description. Seems like we tide and blow dry the thing at least once a day. We've now gone to pulling the shirt down and rolling over the cast so as to get it out of the way. We'll see how that works. Guest guest
So, since none of us seem to be fans of this shirt, does anyone plan to request they not use the shirt next time? Guest guest
My husband did say that tonight. Jake spilled chocolate milk on the top of the cast and on the upper right side of his chest. Now the shirt is really brown! We had to pull the shirt way down into the tummy area, wash, and blowdry! What a project putting it back in place afterwards. Not sure I want the thicker cast back though if we opt to forgo the shirt? Something to think about. Uhhhhh... mom to and Jake Claflin <noellesmommy@...> wrote: So, since none of us seem to be fans of this shirt, does anyone plan to request they not use the shirt next time? Guest guest
Has anyone tride " OxiClean " ? My little Keegan has congenital scoliosis and most likely will not ever need a cast. But I'm this t-shirt sounds terrible to deal with! If they get enough parent feed back maybe they can at least give you black T shirts :-) Good Luck, > > > > C, > > > > Jake had 2 " oh-oh!
