Guest guest
I just wanted to say how much we enjoy Alvin's eggs which we have been buying at Seward co-op since the end of farmer's market season. Every time I open one, I am impressed by the intense orange-yellow yolk, and marvel at how *strong* the shells are (you really have to give a good whack to crack those babies). If the shells are any indication, you must have some hearty hens on your farm! I was just checking out Alvin's website (http://mnorganiceggs.com/) and see you have been involved in anaerobic digestion energy production. Until I heard about it on " The Archers " * a few weeks ago, I hadn't realized it was something suitable to small/family farms. Very cool! Keep up the good work, and thanks for those glorious eggs. Peace, Genie *For those not familiar with " The Archers " : it is a very long-running farming-themed radio soap opera produced and broadcast by BBC Radio 4. Originally intended as an entertaining way to get information out to farmers in post-war Britain, it is now really just about the stories. It is addictive. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/archers/
