Guest guest
Greetings, Does anyone have patients eating food and spitting it out? I have several patients with this behavior and several are taking Alli. I have not had a chance to speak with our Dr. but obviously neither sound like good ideas. I obviously discourage them from both behaviors, but was wondering how anyone else is handling the situation or any recommendations for handling them. As always, thank all of you for the recommendations......they are always very helpful!! Being somewhat new in bariatics, I have tons of questions. Guest guest
A lot of my non-WLS patients do this as part of their eating disorder. Have they completed surgery yet? Are they doing this when they are not hungry or hungry? Certain time of day? Are they using it to cope with feelings when they have the urge to eat? Are they in taking in any food calories, restricting other parts of the day, etc.Alison Pelz From: mrjr_lang@...Date: Wed, 29 Jul 2009 09:05:47 -0700Subject: odd behaviors Greetings, Does anyone have patients eating food and spitting it out?
