Crow River Sustainable Farming Association presents it's 3rd annual Fall Social at the Three Crows Restaurant in Delano, featuring Jane of Buffalo, MN, who will talk about creative freezing, canning, and kitchen storage - as well as local sourcing throughout the winter - showcasing some of our nearby farmers. The event is on Friday evening, November 2. Prior to the one hour presentation at 7:00 p.m., guests may order a great supper from the Three Crows menu, known for incorporating local foods. Having grown up on an Iowa farm, Jane is now a free lance recipe and menu developer, mostly for Super Target, and in the past for Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Land `o Lakes, Ocean Spray & Let's Dish. She operated her own reservation-only restaurant, & was a catering director for Iowa State University, and a Home Economist for the Iowa Egg Council. More recently, she served as Chef Demonstration Coordinator at the Minnesota Garlic Festival. Jane will also give some great tips on tasty ways to use all this bounty! Seating is limited and reservations are required: call (320)543-3394 or - email jerry@.... A $10 donation to SFA of MN suggested. Three Crows Restaurant is located in Delano at 225 River Street North, and can be reached at (763)972-3399. The presentation will be followed by " social time " where farmers and consumers can meet in an informal atmosphere. All donations directly benefit Sustainable Farming Association programs and activities. Contact: Jerry Ford 320-543-3394 jerry@...
