I have a humidifier and it has a special ball with some kind of salts in it

that keep germs from growing. I've only had it a little while, maybe a

month, but it seems to work good. No mold and no bad smells. It also has

an ionizer built in, does anyone know if those are bad? I keep the humidity

in the house around 30% sometimes a tad higher when I need it. I have a

little weather station that tells me the levels.
