Guest guest
Hi to all, I don't post much as I am learning and I thank you all for your information! I have a question about vaccines and newborns in the hospital. My daughter is due any day and the doctor just told her that she can't take the baby home without giving it a vaccine! It's the one for hepatitis though my daughter tested negative. Her doctor told her that she will be putting her child in danger for liver failure if she doesn't do it because the test could be a false negative and her baby NEEDS this shot. ?!?!? Could someone please point me to the laws on this? They were just old this today and her doctor is fighting her tooth and nail on this saying the baby will have the shot. Now my SIL will NOT let their baby out of his sight after she is born. He is concerned that they will give the shot anyway. It is too late to change doctors. I know there are new moms on this list that have been through this. What a thing to happen as she is getting ready to deliver! Please feel free to email me off list because I know this is not about traditional foods. I just didn't know who else to ask that wouldn't think I'm nuts! Thank you so much, Cristy ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
