best probiotics for a child?

I just came across this message Will wrote awhile back. I'm seeking

help for my 7 year old son who is allergic to eggs, peanuts, mold,

pollen, cats, and more. We just took him to Dr and she

was really helpful. We're making drastic changes to his diet as far

as cutting out all sugar and most white flour products. He already

drinks plenty of raw milk, store-bought yogurt (a variety of brands)

and eats lots of raw fruits. He also eats cooked veggies and grass-

fed meat, pastured chicken, etc. He is taking CLO, butter oil and

chlorella but can't take coconut oil or kefir, they both make him

ill. As do uncooked carrots and apples. Most other fruits and

veggies are fine though and he loves grapefruit, strawberries,

broccoli (cooked), etc.

What is the best brand of probiotics supplements for children? Am I

missing any other potential food sources? And would you recommend

digestive enzyme supplements in addition to the enzymes in his raw

foods?

Thanks,

Tana

<One aspect of cure, and one most worthwhile trying now is

PROBIOTICS. When I worked for a local producer of probiotics we had

an entire file cabinet filled with testimonials on food allergy cure

(and the subsequent problems that it so often leads to). Stick with

the top brands, use the CHILD version and dose it up heavily for

several months. Most failures are from wrong kind, wrong brand, too

small a dose, and from qutting too soon. If you combine it with a

good ENZYME product, and cut all BAD FOODS, your results will be

even more spectacular.> (from a message posted by Will in 2006)
