Guest guest
Hi Bert, I havent yet researched into horse back riding and the benefits it may have for scoli, but have always been interested. In Olivias case, it seems that horse therapy would help in using muscles in her lumbar area. Her lumbar area is so stiff, and I always thought that the rocking back and forth of the horse would help loosen that stiff area of her spine. Does that poor explanation make sense? It may help with balance issues, as well.... Let us know what you find out. Sincerely, HRH Bridget's chest window Hi everyone, I have posted a picture of Bridget's new cast with the chest window open at the front. I am finding she is able to eat so much more with this hole. We are trying to work on her stamina but it is still obvious that she tires more quickly than her age peers. A friend asked me yesterday if I had considered horse riding as a way to improve her balance and posture and build up her trunk strength while in the cast. Has anyone researched this idea? I thought she may well love it as she loves animals. Have a great day everyone Bert and Bridget Discover Use to plan a weekend, have fun online & more. Check it out!
