Guest guest Posted July 27, 2005 Report Share Posted July 27, 2005 Hi guys, did such a great job with the update, I"m not sure I have much to add. Mo is doing wonderful. She is on limited pain meds compared to last time. She is also weaning down on ventilator settings. I think they will switch her to her home vent maybe tomorrow and we'll see how those changes translate to the vent she is used to. They are already talking about introducing liquids late today or early tomorrow. WE had a pretty good night. Her stomach is still a little queasy from the anesthetic, so we were up every hour until about 3am. Not being on morphene helps though, she tolerates the fentanyl very well. I guess that is it for now. I"m going to get all the rest I can. Once they hook up the home vent it will be mostly me dealing with it. Pray for continued steady progress. Also pray for and . has a pinched nerve between his shoulder blades and can't turn his head. He's in a fair amount of pain. has no clue about this and is grumpy with allergies. He got allergies the last time we were here and they lasted a week. What a pair they make!!!!
