Guest guest
Hi, awhile ago I posted about my grandmother being diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. She is taking a holistic approach to her treatment as doctors have nothing for her. She lives in Hermantown, which is just outside of Duluth. I searched the database for dairies up there and came up empty. There were some cities that I'd never heard of, maybe one of them is close? The lady who she is seeing for treatment has said she can't have milk, but I think she could have raw milk. Does anyone know of a farm up there where she'd be able to get it? She already gets organic meats from a friend, and a lady down the road from her has chickens where she can " harvest " her own eggs. Thanks. ~Virginia
Guest guest
Virginia, Give Green Pastures a call. Carlton is very near Duluth and even though they are a seasonal dairy, they should have some cows freshening by now. You should also contact Poplar Hill Goat dairy as well (Scandia). Your grandmother might consider buying a cow and having the farm inject it to make HYPERIMMUNE MILK for her specific condition (see Jerry Brunetti's Cancer DVD from acresusa.com). It's one of the most extreme and, perhaps most effective, forms of holistic cure for diseases of this magnitude. As recommended in the DVD, make sure they have done a heavy metals and pesticide test on her, a viral panel, and a Lyme titer. This is a horrid disease but yet one that can respond to a savagely intense holistic program, halfway measures won't work here. Ironically and sadly, city people can get better food and better medicine --by far-- than rural (or small town) people. She might have to move to where the cure is, because, by and large, it could be virtually impossible to find in Duluth. Will
