Kalliope,

You want to search the last few days of the archives, not the library.

Okay, one more time, just for you my friend.

You need

Silk rose petals

M & P soap

Fragrance

You do

Melt the M & P

Add your fragrance

One at a time, dip most of a petal into the M & P

Shake and set aside on waxed paper to dry

Really any cheapy fake flower petals will do. They don't need to be silk or

roses.

OK as I'm gonna try these rose petal thingys, and the last time I tried

M & P it was a TOTAL disaster, how much fragrance should I use? It's gonna

be TWFC's Midnight Rose and Honeysuckle Rose (they are going to be two

different batches) TIA!

I use about 30 drops, but I use rose absolute, and it's stronger. Just

experiment a little, and add to your taste!!

Have fun!

I'm not Sage, Sunny Honey, but I buy the individual petals that you can find

in bridal departments at Wal-Mart and different craft stores. They are

called " floating " petals. Wal-Mart has boxes of 300 petals for $6.97, and

they are very high quality and really pretty.

Hope that helps!

Re: Question about rose petal soap

Sage when you do these rose petals, do you peel the petal off once the soap

has hardened or leave it on? Help... I'm confussed...

Thanks Sunflhower@...

Cool! Thank you Melody! The only time I experimented with M & P It was a

disaster! The base I used must have been poor quality and I think the

scent I used was pretty darn cheap too, but I'd never done soap at all so

I used what was in the craft stores at the time (this was a couple of

years ago). There are FAR more choices and much better quality now so

hopefully it won't be a disaster! I'll let everyone know how they turn

out!
