Guest guest
, Sorry to hear about the ^%#$*! experience you had yesterday. Easier said than done, but please try not to worry too much. The MRI will help determine what the next course of action should be and Tues. will be here before you know it. I sent the video yesterday, so Im hoping you'll get it Mon. The video will give you the basics of the " early treatment " with POP jacket/cast method. I am aware of only 2 Shriners Hospitals that are applying POP jackets/casts early to patients with progressive (non structural) scoliosis. The one in SLC, and the one in Erie, PA. (Casting usually isnt considered for congenital cases). Children with POP jackets/casts usually get them re-applied every 3 to 4 months and their series of jackets could last anywhere from 1 to 3 yrs (approx.) depending on the child and their curves. And yes, there are a few members on this group whose children have shown definate improvement from wearing a well-made brace. Sincerely, HRH Shriners Hospital ??? > > > Hi everyone > > I have a question about the Shriners Hospitals do you'll know if they > all do the casting or only the two in UT and PA? Guest guest
Hi What is the different between congenital cases and other cases. I have no idea what I'm dealing with. Thanks for the information on the Shriners Hospitals. I guess I need to do a lot more research to figure all this out.
