Guest guest
We have both tried this supplement. No references, simply anecdotal. Jim's comments: What does it do for me? Absolutely nothing, although I can hypothize that the reason might be because I have little or no endogenous testosterone production to begin with. If this is true, we might further speculate that ZMA would be of greater value to a younger male than an older one, whose testosterone is in age-induced decline. Rosemary's comments: As usual, I used 1/3 of the recommended dose because I find that the majority of suplement dosages provided on the bottle are for a 200# male. The stuff made me sort of dizzy, although I haven't the faintest idea why except that possibly I didn't need any extra magnesium or zinc (I was already taking LEF multi-vitamin/mineral formula and eat a decent diet). I stopped and started on three different occasions with the same results. Conclusions: Money wasted, unless you have a deficiency. We remember hearing that many young athletes engaging in intense sporting activies are sometimes deficient in these two minerals, but that doesn't describe either of us.
