Guest guest
Well our world has been turned upside down tonight. It's not what they first thought it is actually something called NeoBlaastoma (Spelling) No one wanted to tell us the results as we started calling yesterday to find out that it had been read and we were waiting for our doctor in ortho to call well he was on leave. So I started calling again then did. About 4 pm this evening the flood gates opened we were getting more calls then we could handle it went from her having an appt Monday morning to they wanted her admitted tonight. We asked if it was ok to wait until morning they said ok. They have a lot of test to run before they can do surgery Tuesday to remove the mass tumor. They won't be able to remove it all as it's extended into her spinal cord. So we have to pray it's benign if it's cancer then chemo and radiation will be needed they are also going to do a Bone Marrow Biopsy. We Canceled the youngest birthday party for tomorrow. DH's dad and step mom just called and they just pulled into their Hotel. At least there's an airshow this weekend so they will have something to do with the older boys. I will be staying with at the hospital I'm scared to let the military do the surgery, We don't seem to have a choice. Well I better finished getting packed for the morning. Guest guest
, I am so so sorry to hear of this news. Please know that and your family our in our prayers. I have asked our prayer chain at Church to pray for her already. I really don't know what to say other than we will pray for you. I can only imagine everything you must be going through right now. We know you will be so busy, but if you get just a minute to find a way to let us know of 's condition in the next days to week, let us know. I know I can say without a doubt that every one of us on this board will be thinking of you guys and praying. Tracey > Well our world has been turned upside down tonight. Guest guest
Hi ... My sister had Cancer an dhad many surgeries done by the Naval Hospital here in San Diego. She recovered well from all of them. It's a very hard raod but as with our family it will bring you all closer as a family. I'm not sure if all the Military Hospuitals are the same but for a while they lagged with her test results but once they thought something was wrong, they jumped right on it and took care of it. Hopefully it will be benign and I will be preying for you. Good luck tomorrow and just keep your head up for her as she will also be scared. 4, Logan 1 > Well our world has been turned upside down tonight. Guest guest
, I looked up neuroblastoma. It is a condition that St. Judes treats, I do not know if they are good, or how you get to go there I know it is free, but I don't know if you have to be a research study to be admitted there. It does seem like they would have more experience than the military, but I don't really know. I don't understand the ortho, I remember the pedi had her being admitted to the hospital that same day she had her xray. I read about a treatment being done at University of Michigan hospitals called MIBG. I hesitate to do more research , since they may change their minds again, and I don't want to waste your time. Let me know if you could use any other research I will try to look up more stuff. Just post and we will look up stuff for you, if you want. We will be thinking and praying for you guys. > Well our world has been turned upside down tonight. It's not what > they first thought it is actually something called NeoBlaastoma , My heart goes out to you and your family....please know that my prayers are with you and your little . Take one moment at a time, one hurdle at a time....children are amazingly resielient, and I'm sure she'll inspire us all with her strength. If there is anything that anyone here can do, I'm sure it will get done, just please let us know! Its utterly jaw dropping what 24 hrs can do, I will be praying for a benign growth with an uncomplicated removal.....please do let us know how things are going. God bless, , and Eliana
Guest guest
, one thing you have now is kind of a journal of what has gone on. By posting here, it all is recorded, you can just do a search here for all your postings and print each one out. This way you have on paper what has happened. in case you should need it. > > Well our world has been turned upside down tonight.
