Guest guest Posted December 14, 2007 Report Share Posted December 14, 2007 I have a patient who is 19 weeks pregnant, about 1 yr s/p RNY, and also has PCOS. She has been unable to gain any weight during her pregnancy. She is 61 " and 180#. She's been eating 3 meals and 3 snacks plus protein drinks. She's even been drinking apple juice. I suggested she add high calorie things like peanut butter, regular cottage cheese instead of low fat, smoothies and other drinks that she can get more calories from. Any suggestions? THANKS!
