Guest guest
I really cannot answer this question but I can tell you a little story that may indicate that it may be dictated by motor patterns. I am a lefty and do everything left handed. When I first went to pick up a golf club however, it felt very awkward (yes it was a left handed club) and the right handed clubs felt very natural to be so I golf (well, I don't anymore and was never any good at it) right handed and do everything else left handed. Go figure?? Guest guest
Yes, Bob, that was me about my right arm being stronger than my left even though I am left handed. And yes, my right leg is my lead leg for stepping forward. I would think this would be just the opposite because I am left handed, but the right side of my body is slightly stronger although there is no difference to extremely miniscule when it comes to girth measurements. On the other hand my left foot is very, very slightly larger and I have learned when trying on shoes to always try on the left one, although salespeople will always hand you the right shoe first. I also notice that rings fit a teeny bit tighter on my left hand than my right, even though the right hand is stronger. None of this is noticeable by just looking at me nor in training as I can always do the same number of reps with my right arm or leg as the left; it's just harder with my left side.
