Guest guest
Jeanette, good luck with the casting. I hope it goes well. We'll be thinking of you. Noelle (12-2-01)Ian (8-15-04) Nicks first cast Hello everyone,Tomorrow is packing day for our week in SLC to get Nick in his first cast. I'm trying not to stress about a thousand things right now. We kept Nick out of preschool last week for fear he would catch a cold and we'd have to cancel everything. Our two year old daughter has a cold though, so we've been giving Nick Airborne as a preventative measure. I have no idea if that stuff actually works but I'm not taking any chances. I'm looking forward to meeting the other families, it's and Madison next week right? Here's some info about Nick for the data that was requested earlier last week I think:Jeanette, mom to.....Nick: age 4scoliosis found by mom around age 2 mos"watch and wait" Dr.!officially diagnosed at age 2cardiologist recommends we deal with PDA first, then scoliosisseen by shriner ortho in CA for first time 9/04 - growth rods!Ortho in CA changes mind, tlso instead of growth rods2nd opinion in slc 1/05- let's castgoing into first cast 3/05degree of curvature: around 65 thoracic/around 35 lumbar RVAD 5I'll let you know the new fabulous low numbers soon as we get them!Sincerely,Jeanette
