The HSJ blog is usually a deeply depressing read, with lots of vindictive and angry comments and little constructive, but I must admit to laughing at the entry following a report that the government is facing backlash over plans to axe NHS Direct, and subsume some of its services under the new 'NHS 111' number being trialled in the North-east, see http://www.hsj.co.uk/5018782.article?referrer=e2The blogger wrote:'DH plan new phone number 666 to replace the NHS.
