Hi all, I have a (very ) short notice job interview and presentation to give (less than a weeks notice !) . Fortunatley my reading is uptodate . It is a specialist nurse safeguarding post. This would mean I am able to commence my masters which was previously promised then pots of money disappeared. I just wondered whether anyone has been interviwed for a similar post or has interviewed and wouldn't mind sharing what key points should be discussed, or were asked . I have as I said I do read widely and feel confident that my knowledge is ok , just last minute jitters I think , hope everyone has some sunshine for our long weekend Kind regard sharman x

Yeas , this is a real shame I found lots of really very useful documents on thi website regarding wellbeing in the early years , not to mention the biennial reviews . Where will this stuff be posted I wonder . I think senate will prove invaluable over the next months , helping each other find things , thanks , thanks too to and christine for those documents . My post is fixed term and finishing soon , so I have an interview next week for a safeguarding post . So will be spending the bank holiday Reading and revising ! Best wishes Sharman x Sharman x

Thanks to the Family and Parenting Institute for this information:

If you need to access content from the website of the former DCSF, a copy of the site (as it was at May 11, 2010) can be found on the National Archives website, http://tna.europarchive.org/20100511104923/http:/www.dcsf.gov.uk/

The new Department for Education does allow access to some of the useful information, all hedged about with warning notices about the change of government meaning that content may not reflect current policy etc, and it looks very different, so we will need to get used to the new way of doing things. They appear to be firmly not about children or families any more, just education in the old-fashioned sense of schooling.

best wishes
