Guest guest
Dear Senators and , The attached pdf from BMC shows the relationship between drinking by Norwegian mothers and fathers and classroom problems among young people. For example, it is especially disturbing for children to see their parents drunk at home. There are technical weaknesses in this research (e.g. a very ropey assessment of alcohol 'abusers' without any measure of chronicity) but Norwegians drink much much less alcohol than English people, so the family effects are probably more common here. Only school nursing can link such parental and child issues in a non-judgemental, health improving way?
