This is a prime example of why I just won't join the OCA. Vern has by far, done more for Chiropractic in the last five years then anyone else in the political field in Oregon. So the OCA has decided to terminate Vern Saboe as our lobbyist.  Has the OCA board  lost their collective minds?.  We the general members of the OCA cannot  let this stand!!!  Vern Saboe has done more for this profession as our Lobbyist in the last 6 to 8 years than all the previous lay lobbyist have done in the previous 20 years.  I for one will do all in my power to re-instate Vern as our lobbyist.  It is our current OCA leadership that is now suspect in my eyes.  I do not want to see our current state association torn apart but this kind of insane action has the potential to do just that .

  As I have said this cannot and will not stand!  I consider Vern to be a friend and a tireless  warrior for our profession in Oregon.  I will stand with my colleagues to do whatever it takes to bring back sanity to our state association.

I cannot believe what I am reading. Vern was the main reason I joined the

association - to help with ammo on the political front. This seems crazy to

fire our main force in lobbying.

Vern was the reason for my pledge to his lobbying efforts over the past few years. If Vern is fired, perhaps it's time to terminate our lobby pledges as well.
