Fusing SI will distort this over time. Look to Gracilis and Sartorius for weakness due to possible adrenal failure. Absolutely look to the feet for correct posture positioning, especially if you see pronation. Look at gate if all looks good in the feet standing. There is such a condition called Sacral Wobble by AK that you need to also look up, I bet this is the problem or part of it along with possible a combination of those others mentioned. Just for fun test the Psoas B/L for weakness. Make sure you give her plenty of Ligaplex 2 from Standard or some other good reputable company. Adrenal supplements can be found there as well. The belt is also very important through the acute stage, which for her seems to be all the time. I also suggest to look to the Gluteus muscles as well that cross the SI find out if any muscles relationship in weakness is associated from the organ or gland or it will be an on going battle, as I see it has been. If you feel like this is out of your realm then I suggest AK and SOT doc that understands both which also includes looking to Cranial Faults as Sunny pointed out. Lovette Brother remember. WaltAshland From: Dr. Ted Forcum <tforcum@...>Subject: SI Fusion Date: Sunday, December 5, 2010, 11:06 AM Doc,I have a very compliant patient who has chronic instability. She has been treated with multiple DC's, PT's and MD's. Had prolo-therapy, PRP, whole body vibration therapy, food reaction testing, acupuncture, stabilization therapy, KT taping, SPRT taping, bracing, CMT, Graston and others. All with short term results. She is now interested in an SI fusion. I have never had a patient with this procedure. Has anyone had experience with SI fusions? What type of outcomes did you see?Thank you, Ted Ted Forcum, DC, DACBSP Back In Motion Sports Injuries Clinic, LLC ACA Sports Council, Past President '08 US Olympic Sports Medicine Team Member 11385 SW Scholls Ferry Road Beaverton, Oregon 97008 503.524.9040 www.bimsportsinjuries.com The information contained in this electronic message may contain protected health information confidential under applicable law, and is intended only for the use of the individual or entity named above.
