If he's still achy the end of the week I'll bring him back to the pulmonologist next week and see what he wants to do with him. This poor kid has had very few " healthy " days in months! *Now* I remember another of those advantages of homeschooling. He was always sick like this when he went to public school, but once he started homeschooling he ws rarely sick. (sigh) Be back later - gotta get ready for podiatrist this morning. Guest guest
There are some toxins associated with anesthesia, and with medicines you receive during surgery. You cannot expect symptoms to go away quite this soon, but give it time for all the other stuff to leave your body and see if you don't begin to feel better. For some it is almost immediate, for others it takes longer. Patience and trust that you did the right thing for your body and you will improve is necessary. Positive thinking!!!!! Guest guest
Hi ! I'm so happy and relieved that everything went so smoothly for you. Can you remind me how long you had your implants in? Also, were yours originally placed in front or behind your muscle? Please do keep us updated as to your progress. Since I have not been explanted yet I'm very curious to hear about your experience from the beginning. I would give yourself a little time to recover before looking for specific relief although I'm sure it's very hard to do --it's been a long time coming... Take care and know you are on your way to a better healthier life...Keep us posted. Guest guest
I think mnost of us thought maybe we would be different and feel improvement right away but most of us did not it was slow and gradual. I know that my worse symptoms the brain stuff was gone within a year and the pain issues got better after that. I still have some aches and pains but nothing like with the implants and my energy now is better than before. hang in there and congrats to you honey, you did the right thing! , " holymary1974 " <holymary1974@y...> wrote: > hello ladies, > > i'm sitting here in my hotel bed recovering after my explant surgery > with dr. melmed. i'm happy to say everything went very smoothly, he > was so wonderful. the only thing was he mentioned i was a tough > case in that the implant was strongly attached to my muscles, but he > did get them out en bloc. that explains why i'm so sore. drains > were taken out today, hardly felt a thing! i hope now the healing > process can begin. > > i was so anxious though to see if my body aches and pains were gone, > but to my dismay they're still present. i guess i can't expect them > to disappear overnight. i'll have to wait and see. how long did it > take for most of you to see improvement in your symptoms? in any > case, i'm just so glad they're out... i hope anyone else who is > either contemplating or second-guessing themselves... that they > realize this is the best thing they can do for their health and > future. > > feel free to ask any ?'s re: my experience, dr. melmed, etc... > thanks for all your encouragement and prayers! > > love, > lisa
Guest guest
Glad to hear that everything went well! Don't be concerned about still having aches. Everyone is different. I actually had more aches for the first several days and then it started to level off dramatically. Be encouraged! You have them out and you are on the upward part of the journey now! Guest guest
Hi , Patience is a virtue you will want to focus on with implant illness and healing....it takes a long time for all of this to settle down. It is a good time to focus on spiritual growth and educating yourself about natural healing methods, if you are inclined to do so. Taking care of yourself is the focus, alot of TLC and detoxing! Congratulations on your explant!
