What makes you believe that you have the right to challlenge the integrity of this board? These are DC's in the field that have OUTSTANDING qualifications or they would not be in the positions that they are in..

Have you bothered to check the qualifications?

Have you satn in on even one meeting?

Are you involved in any way with the inner workings and day to day activities of this fine group of DC's?

You insinuuate that these Doctor's are Stupid... you have no idea how illtierate you appear to those of us who have served in the association over the years.

The association as a WHOLE serves to improve your practice in this state. While Vern is tireless in his legislative efforts, which should be applauded, he is not the be all and end all of the association, it is far bigger than 1 person.

You have no problem voicing all the things you find problematic yet you are not supporting the very organization that is defending you, unlike your erstwhile state.

So let me see..... you complain about the state organization that has provided you with substantial support for your practice, offering neither time or money in your own defense and then challenge the integrity of those who have fought so hard for you to have the opportunity to carry on in your practice.... NICE... maybe you should take a long look in the mirror.

I will take a few of your statements here and give you as a non-member of this association my opinion. You state here, "This Board has no self-serving interest in our actions. Our motive has always been to do whatever it takes to protect the integrity of, and to achieve the best for, the Oregon chiropractic profession, the Association and its members. We have sacrificed our time and our personal resources and risked our professional image and personal friendships to do the right thing." ANSWER: To change the bylaw at the end of the two year session by the 12 members on the association board giving continued placement to those you chose for another year is wrong period and it is double wrong when there was a large group association member meeting that appose what you are muscle arming to do, this is doubly wrong. You represent those that you are needing am attorney to use in your behalf. It does not take a smart person to see what you are doing and what you pretend to say in this letter of yours.

You go on to say, "Many of you are not Association members and this is Association business," I would like to say on all the non association members that we are all licensed Chiropractors in the state of Oregon and what this association does or does not do absolutely has an effect on all us as well. Knowing what I know I do not want to be part of your association, even though I had plans to join I will not... If all of you are removed and new people of honesty integrity and loyalty are placed in the 12 seats then I will absolutely join. I would put my money where Mr. Vern Saboe directed me as I trust his work and his word over any of you on this association board. He has proven himself over and over, which brings me to your next statement I want to make comment on regarding hiring a new lobbyist for not just the association but for all of the chiropractor in Oregon. You don't think because we are not part of the association at this time we should not have a voice in what you are doing. WE all know what Vern is doing what we don't know is what all of you are doing..............You all need to be removed, so the rest of us can join.

Tell me was it unanimous to remove Dr. Saboe or was it a few? Who are they? Let's remove those for the six then if that is how it has to be. Take a vote with the association members to whether Dr. Saboe should be removed? You can obviously see by what you 12 have done you are no longer in a position of being like. That in itself should not only tell you something, but you all should resign.

Next statement of your, "We recruited and contracted with a professional lobbyist/publicist. She was contracted at an equivalent hourly rate under half of what the other Association lobbyist was paid" This is absurd and ridiculous that you feel your reason of removing Dr. Saboe when he is much more qualified and has proven his abilities over and over to save the association kitty by half the hourly rate to a young lady that has proven nothing and what I understand has not done to well already is beyond stupid for the Chiropractor of Oregon. I say this for all of us, Dr. Saboe has done his job and the association should be paying him double, not terminating him and hiring an inexperience lobbyist for has price. What is more important saving a few bucks or destroying Chiropractic in Oregon. I came from Nevada where the board is scared and will cut off the heads of DC's just to appease the Medical. We have no WC anymore, WE had no lobbyist that would fight for us, so we received very bad representation or none at all. The Nevada docs are walked on daily with rules and law being past against them. I believe this typical across the US. Oregon actually had gonads against these power to be and even then you have to fight with all you have against your work comp system since the 1990, BUT that was exactly what Dr. Saboe was doing. You will see your state go down fast with this girl you are going to save half on as an hourly wage... I cannot believe how why you would even say this I would be ashamed to admit this is your reasoning. I have seen many stupid things in this world of 60 years, but this take the cake. Not that I am calling you stupid or the association stupid but if the shoe fits where it.

"This whole thing is about what is more important, one man’s job?" You say this without realizing again how absurd this statement is. Well, the president of the United States has a job. So, it does not depend on this as much as what this one man is doing and what he represents to the over all mass. Is he good at what he does or is he bad at what he does is the question. it sure it not about getting someone else in there that you can pay half the hourly wage. United vote to whether the consensus feels the president is doing a good job or a bad job is to where only a few can just terminated or impeach him. You impeached a wonder hard working doctor that is fighting for ALL OF US not just the few and you have again the audacity to say, "what's the uproar it's only one person" Well you are only one person as well, so what makes you think you and those few have the right to remove that one person while you all save your one place on the seat of the association. Maybe the association member can save money by removing you.

P.S If my email not totally organized, you get the point, as I do have dyslexia. I do apologize if I offended anyone other then the Association Board Membes.
