Guest guest
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Karleen Swarztrauber, M.D., M.P.H. 6485 S.W. Borland Rd., Suite B, Tualatin, OR 97062, (503) 783-3090, (503) 636-1284. She enjoys working with Chiropractic Physicians and made a point of stating that she has found all the chiropractors who have referred to her to be great to work with. I was very impressed with her whole approach to mild traumatic brain injuries, spinal and other nerve impingement, and the management of chronic pain with therapies other than narcotics and pain killers. I think she will generally work with you as opposed to working instead of you, but she also is not going to be a rubber stamp and impresses me as an extremely competent and energetic practitioner who is going to call it as she sees it. She won't treat a patient on credit, so please don't refer a patient to her after PIP is exhausted and you're concerned with how your ongoing treatment is going to be covered. Like all medical specialists, it is always (ALWAYS) recommended to make the referral early for a second opinion and alternate evaluation. She also impresses me as being very approachable. Good Luck.
