Hi ladies-

I'm preparing to start my C1 in a couple days, and am trying to plan

out my first weeks' worth of meals. Does one really need the extra

fat involved in low-fat cottage cheese, or is fat-free cottage

cheese okay to use in my meal plan? Also, does anyone have any tips

they've found helpful regarding meal planning? Thanks!!

Welcome WW. I use fat free cottage cheese. You get plenty of fat in a lot

of other things without the milkfat of cottage cheese. My advice is that

you keep planning ahead like you're doing right now. If you fail to plan,

you plan to fail. Best of luck to you, and you've found a really great

group.

Nonfat cottage cheese is fine. It's just a matter of personal preference.

Here's my menu rescue page that has a grocery list and some easy meals:

and my What I Eat page:

not all of which is in BFL portions but it might give you some meal ideas.

The Lean Out or Swell Up menus might help you out too:

You can always post a day or two of food and ask for help or advice.

It's important to have a plan and to have your food ready to go.

Otherwise, it's really easy to get off track. It's good that you're

getting organized ahead of time.
