What would any of you gals recommend for an Abdominal exercise or two

that works primarily the Transverse Abdominus?? I have Sacroiliac Joint

Dysfunction and keeping that particular set of abs muscles going helps

the most. Also, anything that works the Glute Medius?? That also

helps.

Have a great day!

Altho they dont specify just the transverse abdominus, I think they

are covered with the oblique exercises listed at the ExRx site:

http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html

Even tho you have a condition to consider, work the entire ab area

to get the additional spinal support benefits you need as it all

works together :-)

The lefthand side gives you the anatomy, movement, and technical

stuff about each muscle you choose to read about.

The righthand side will take you to little animated gifs which will

show you various exercises for whatever bodypart you choose. Another

name for the gluteus medius are hip abducters (under waist).
