Guest guest
Hi, I'm conscious you could probably substitute a long list of other boroughs that would claim to have similar problems - and that in itself is interesting if they were mapped. We seem to have more pilots in the NHS than BA and our approach seems to be based on the end points of malnutrition - rotten teeth, chronic constipation, iron deficiency anaemia and obesity rather than a recognition that in certain communities and cultures they share a common root cause. What I'd like to know is if anyone out there has commissioned services to tackle these issues in a bottom up, community based way. And/or, if anyone has successfully challenged traditional ways of service delivery in order to sustain improvement in the health status of these very vulnerable communities. Best wishes, Terry McGinn 1 of 1 File(s) Hyndburn Syndrome.doc
