Guest guest
Gooooood Morning to All; Since it's Friday (thank goodness!) I thought I'd share the Friday Five with you. If you have any tips, feel free to chime in! 1. Fitness tip: If you workout at home (like me) try casting the long T-shirt and stretch pants aside and wear shorts and a small top. This way, you can see your muscles working and give it your full concentration which may inspire you to do a few additional reps. 2. Quickie dessert recipe: 1 cup of fat-free vanilla yogurt, 1 t. sugar free jello (any flavor) and 2 T. fat-free Cool Whip. Blend together...delicious, very inexpensive, fat free, low-cal and satisfies a sweet tooth! 3. Mental motivation: If you're not in the mood for exercise, give yourself an attitude adjustment. Think of how good you'll feel afterward, tell yourself that this is the only way to get the bod of your dreams. Do a few reps, it may lead to many more! 4. Quick mantra: " Never give up. Never, never, never ever!--Winston Churchill 5. Visualization tip: When all is quiet, lie across your bed, close your eyes, relax your body totally and really concentrate about the body you want in all of its buffed glory. See yourself the way you've always wanted to look. Burn this image in your mind. Let nothing knock you off your path to this achievement. When you're tempted to eat that piece of cheesecake, revive your visualization image. When you don't want to exercise, think of your visualized body image. Be mindful and mentally strong. I really hope this helps someone. Your sister in fitness, Lucky PS: I'd also like to add one more: If you're really pressed for time and you're on the go, a piece of fruit and a bottle of water is far better than going to the vending machines...or even worse, a fast- food restaurant.
