For some reason, I have gotten lazy. I was going full steam for

about 15 weeks, and then wham! the alarm goes off, and I stay in

bed.. I find every reason not to go to the gym at lunch or after

work. I am eating more junk each day... I maintained my weight -

thank goodness, but I am tired of being in the comfy zone.

I feel tired all the time, bloated and basically out of shape.

Ya see, I do this every time.... I get to a certain weight/size and

I feel better - even great some days -- I get compliments on how

great I look and I start being lazy!

Well, over the weekend at a 40th birthday party; I started look

around at the women. I will be 34 at the end of the month - and I

will be damned if I look dumpy, frumpy and old at 40. These women

were all out of shape, frumpy and totally " beat " looking. Life

doesn't have to be like that.

So, I have made the decision to push myself harder than ever this

year. I will be at 35 in the best shape of my life. That's it.

period. No excuses anymore.

I deserve to be in shape with killer arms and legs. I can get there.

It's going to take hard work and determination, along with some kick

butt motivation -- but if I don't do it for myself, noone else is

going to either.

It's like a little light bulb just went off .... I get it....

I am going to post new pics, as I realize I never posted my 12 week

pictures! Just my start and 6 week ones. So, I will get those up by

the end of the week...

Time to refocus and recommit. Have a great day all. Thanks for

listening! (or reading!)

LOL! Were we at the same party? <g> I was at a 40th birthday party on

the weekend too :) I saw some pretty tired and frumpy looking women

(and men too, for that matter). I turned 40 in Jan and even though I am

still a work in progress I think I looked better than a lot of women

there (older and younger) who eat junk and drink too much and NEVER

exercise because they are " too busy " . I know I feel better than most of

them anyway! :)

Those sound like some good goals and some great incentive to get where

you want to be! Congrats on your renewed enthusiasm and dedication!
