Just like some women can have 3 kids and no stretch marks and some of us get them. > > Also, how can someone who says they are lactose intolerent, eat > yogurt without any problems? Thanks My sister is one of those people. She explained to me that it's the influence of the bacteria in yogurt on the absorption of lactose. (or something like that). Here's more info http://www.askdrsears.com/html/4/T045700.asp Yogurt, like fibre should be included in daily diet in my opinion (on a side note) Eve
Guest guest
I'm only going to speculate, although I think I'm correct. With the surgery, I think the weight comes off unnaturally. I don't think the patients typically exercise and the skin does not have a chance to " rebound " . They end up eating meals about the size of ours in BFL but because any more will make them vomit, not because of a commitment to a better lifestyle. If you exercise, the skin with firm up slowing every day with every rep and at the end of the 100 lbs, you're looking fabu. Guest guest
Even people who are gretly over weight and go on a good fitness & eating plan can have the side-effects of a lot of loose skin. It all depends on genetics like someone said earlier. > > > > > > > These are two questions that have been bugging me the last few days. > > Can someone help me understand: > > > > How a woman can lose 100 lbs with weight loss surgery and have a HUGE > > amount of sagging skin, while another woman who loses 100 lbs through > > exercise and healthy eating barely has any? > > > > I've heard the explanation that fast weight loss from Weight loss > > surgery is the cause, but is that really the ONLY difference? Guest guest
>> > Also, how can someone who says they are lactose intolerent, eat > yogurt without any problems? Thanks I'd imagine there are varying levels of lactose intolerance. There is also lactose free yogurt that my ex used to eat. He would also take Lactaid pills when he ate regular dairy and they helped. Colleen
Guest guest
Colleen what brand of yogurt was this. I didn't know there was a lactose free yogurt. I buy the lactose free milk all the time. > >> > > Also, how can someone who says they are lactose intolerent, eat > > yogurt without any problems? Guest guest
There are five things you can do: lose the weight slowly, drink plenty of water, make sure you're eating enough good fats, regularly moisturize your skin, and follow a training program consisting of cardio and weight training(or other resistance type training. This usually does the trick for most people. After that, it's left up to time, genetics, and how much elasticity is left in your skin. Most people say it's best wait up to a year or so after losing the pounds to determine how much the skin will tighten up before considering other alternatives. > > These are two questions that have been bugging me the last few days. > Can someone help me understand: > > How a woman can lose 100 lbs with weight loss surgery and have a HUGE > amount of sagging skin, while another woman who loses 100 lbs through > exercise and healthy eating barely has any? > > I've heard the explanation that fast weight loss from Weight loss > surgery is the cause, but is that really the ONLY difference?
