I am delighted that this discussion has been initiated. For Vibram FF contact the Kayak Shed in Hood River. http://www.kayakshed.com/vibram-five-fingers/They have been one of the largest retailers of VFF and do not charge shipping.

I have been running and hiking in VFF since last October. I have three pair and prefer the "Trek" in Kangaroo hide for most trails. I have been an avid hiker and trail runner since the 70's and have never even been close to satisfied with the myriad of shoes/boots/orthotics that I have tried. With minimalist running/hiking I feel like I have "come home". It has been a process relearning how to walk and run without an inch plus of material attached to my feeet but very worth it. This is not a fad but part of a transformation back to moving through space as we are designed to. This is an ongoing adventure for me and I would be happy to go into to more detail if any one is interested in contacting me.
