Dear all,

Please can I draw your attention to the following 3-year full-time PhD

studentships, in areas including safeguarding, childhood obesity and health

visiting assessment which may be of interest to health visitors, school nurses

and other community practitioner on SENATE:

The Department of Psychology (School of Social Sciences & Law), the Westminster

Institute of Education, and the School of Health and Social Care at Oxfprd

s University are launching a new joint Doctoral Training Programme (DTP)

in " Children and Young People: Psychological, Educational and Health

Perspectives " . As a strategic part of this initiative, applications are invited

for 4 three-year full-time PhD studentships.

The studentships are open to home/EU students only. For successful

candidates the level of the home/EU fee will be paid by the university

and students will receive an annual bursary of £12,500 in 2010/11,

increasing by 4% each year.
