Guest guest
Workers' Comp Complaint Letters Keep them coming doctors! You wonderful colleagues continue to send me complaint letters thank you! We can never have to many of these so keep'em coming. Again, complaint letters from injured workers/patients are the most POWERFULas per getting the attention of the legislators. Doctors complaining about the wrongs thier patient the next most powerful tool I can use during my testimony in front of the legislative committees. Here are the two issues I want complaint letters about: "Steering" Employers or claims reps mandating that an injured worker go to the local occupational medical clinic, urgent care clinic, company doctor, and/or company nurse for treatment. Never telling the injured worker that they can go to the doctor of thier choice and even telling the injured worker when they ask that "No" you can't see a chiropractor because this is a work comp case etc., etc., etc. Injured workers you are actively treating who are then taken from you because the patient has been enrolled into a managed care organization (MCO) and as such forced to see a chiropractor on the "list" (closed panel - baloney) and whom they have no relationship with, no history with, and no trust, they what to see you! Have a wonderful holiday weekend! Vern Saboe Questions? call any time 541-231-4528
