I walked away from health visiting with a very heavy heart 8 years ago but for the sake of my health it was a choice I had to make. I am now working in a way that completely honours my values and brings together my health visiting and coaching skills and work with people that value me and what I bring. And I am working with social enterprises and voluntary groups .. the simplest way to describe a lot of what I do is mental health promotion. My registration has come up for renewal and I have made the choice not to renew it .. I have just reached the great age of 60 .. I would have crawled my way there had I stayed.
