Guest guest
Ever take a long walk down the dried stuff row at your local asian market. One of my favorite things to do. I was in our area International market the other day doing that very thing, when I came across Dried Baby Squid, I was on the hunt for some new and interesting things to tincture, so I grabbed a pack. Last night I decided to make a tincture, I split open the bag and started cutting up the squid with scissors. They are very small about the size of a half dollar, and pliable like thin plastic. They are stinky fishy too, and salty. As I was cutting, I began to notice that all four of my cats were circling my feet like a heard of sharks. They had gotten a whiff of the fishes... So I tossed one down on the floor, Charlie grabbed it right up and ran, Itty Bitty took off after him trying to steal it away. I gave him one and he let out a growl that you could have heard down the street. All of a sudden his primal spirit kicked in to over drive and nobody was going to get that squid from him. The girls were less aggressive, I gave each of them a squid, they ran off to their own safe spots to eat them. Of course they all wanted more. Which they did not get. One each pr. week I think would be plenty. This morning when I went downstairs to work, I had to shut the door to keep Charlie and Itty Bitty from jumping up on everything looking for more squid....... Cats!..... Happy New Year! Z....
