Guest guest
I don't know of any link between iron and mold/fungi, but I sure hope someone on the board does, because there are high (unacceptable according to the Dept. of Environmental Protection & the PA. Water Co.)levels of Iron as Manganese, in the water supply in my apt. Barb --- <lallen4@...> wrote: > I was exposed to toxic mold. Guest guest
Dr Marinkovich's diet at mold-survivor says to 'deprive the invaders of iron by taking extra zinc'. Don't take too much zinc because it throws other things off. So, yes, I've heard of it. He also says to deprive them of sugar and moisture. Sugar, moisture and iron. You don't want to avoid all iron like you would avoid all sugar though I'm sure. I don't know how low of iron you can go without other things going wrong. He wasn't specific. I take it as meaning don't take extra iron and take 'some extra' zinc, like one zinc tablet a day. I wish there was some way to be more specific though. I haven't heard this mentioned very much though. --- In , " " <lallen4@...> wrote: > > I was exposed to toxic mold. Guest guest
Hello, 1.I am working with various doctors on getting better. Good Luck I wish I can say this. Guest guest
Maybe if you have fungal infection, it is using it up-? Just don't supplement I guess. I don't know if you took zinc, if that would make iron too low, but I guess you could see how you felt-? There is a lot of guesswork. It doesn't have to be if it was in someone's interest to study this. --- In , " J.
